As a Junior Product Owner, you’ll work at the intersection of people, business processes, and technology. You’ll help understand problems, structure requirements, and shape solutions that create real value.

You’ll gradually grow into a Product Builder by combining product thinking, analysis, prototyping, and delivery. We’ll give you responsibility that matches your experience, along with the support you need to take the next step.

What you’ll do

• Conduct interviews with users, clients, and stakeholders to understand real needs and challenges.
• Analyse existing processes, systems, data flows, and dependencies.
• Turn your findings into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create simple As-Is/To-Be flows, prototypes, process models, and other artefacts that give the team direction.
• Support the maintenance and prioritisation of the product backlog.
• Work closely with Product Owners, designers, developers, and clients.
• Take ownership of clearly defined tasks and actively ask for support when challenges become more complex.
• Use approved AI workflows safely, review outputs critically, and make uncertainties and open questions visible.
• Help document progress, decisions, and learnings in a clear and traceable way.

What makes you a great fit

• Initial practical experience in a product, business analysis, consulting, project, or similar role.
• A basic understanding of software development, agile ways of working, and digital products.
• Initial experience gathering, structuring, and documenting requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking and an ability to turn complex topics into clear next steps.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new topics, industries, and systems.
• A structured and reliable way of working.
• Initiative, ownership, and openness to feedback.
• Empathy for users, clients, and team members.
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• A degree in business, computer science, design, or a related field is helpful but not required.
