The client you’ll work with:  

Unihomes is a fast-growing UK technology business that is transforming the student rental experience. Their platform combines student accommodation search with utility management, with the wider goal of creating one seamless destination covering the entire rental journey.Founded in 2015, UniHomes now operates across 60+ UK cities, partners with 1,000+ letting agents and accommodation providers. 

The role:

The position is for a Salesforce Engineer who will have fairly broad ownership across the UniHomes Salesforce environment, covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Agentforce. It combines hands-on administration and development with larger CRM projects, automation, integrations and platform improvements.Reporting to the Head of CRM, you would work directly with different areas of the business, translating their requirements and operational challenges into Salesforce solutions. This may include improving lead and service processes to automating manual workflows, strengthening reporting and making better use of customer data.Agentforce and AI are an important part of where UniHomes wants to take the platform, although this is not an AI-specific role. The core requirement remains strong Salesforce foundations and someone comfortable delivering both pragmatic short-term improvements and more scalable, longer-term solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud using Flow, Apex, Lightning and declarative configuration
  • Own the day-to-day administration and configuration of the Salesforce platform
  • Build reliable automation using Flow, Apex and platform events
  • Develop custom Salesforce functionality, including Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components and integrations
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
  • Maintain strong platform quality through testing, code reviews, release management and Salesforce best practices
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, Finance, Product and Technology to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions
  • Design and build Agentforce agents across sales, service, lead generation and customer journeys
  • Monitor Agentforce performance and continuously improve agents based on real-world usage
  • Support Salesforce and Agentforce adoption through training, documentation and feedback
  • Act as a key technical owner for Salesforce and Agentforce within UniHomes. 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and platform configuration
  • Practical Salesforce development experience with Apex, Flow and Lightning
  • Experience building and delivering Agentforce, Einstein or similar Salesforce AI solutions
  • Good understanding of AI concepts such as prompt design, RAG and evaluation
  • Comfortable owning Salesforce initiatives end-to-end, from design and build through to governance and adoption
  • Able to translate business requirements into practical and scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience operating as a senior individual contributor with leadership responsibilities or leading a small technical team
  • Pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing business
  • Genuine interest in AI and confidence in driving its practical adoption across the organisation 

Brownie points:

  • Salesforce certifications are highly desirable, particularly Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist.
  • Experience setting up agent observability tooling.
  • Background in marketplaces, lettings, utilities or consumer-facing platforms.
