  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)
  • Consider testability early in the design process and align with QA on UI states relevant for automated end-to-end testing (Playwright)
  • Align with stakeholders, the cross-functional product team, and the broader design community

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer, ideally in a product environment

  • Confident use of Jira and Confluence for collaboration and documentation

  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant work (required with application)

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for the public sector or regulated environments
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Proxy PO, or strong familiarity with PO responsibilities
  • Awareness of how designs affect automated UI testing (e.g. Playwright: stable selectors, test IDs, predictable states)
  • Experience in a consulting or agency environment
  • Experience supporting WCAG 2.1 Level AAA where applicable

What You Can Expect

  • Fully remote work with quarterly team on-sites
  • A cross-functional, collaborative team environment
  • Meaningful work with real-world impact in the public sector
