This position can be filled full-time or part-time on a permanent basis.

You can choose weather you want to work from our offices in Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, or Cologne or remotely from within Germany, but please note that this role would involve some occasional on-site time in our Berlin location, typically up to twice per month.

• You take responsibility for requirements management together with our client and advise them on the software’s functional scope
• You define the product vision for the client and your international, cross-functional team
• You create the roadmap and plan, maintain, and prioritize the backlog; you write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and test cases
• Together with your team, you design pragmatic solutions with the highest business value for our clients
• You coordinate with other teams and product owners, identify dependencies between projects, and incorporate these into your roadmap
• You create story maps to keep the “big picture” in view and make it transparent to your project team
• You analyze business processes with the client and propose improvements
• As a Product Owner in an international, cross-functional team, you are primarily responsible for communication within the team, the company, and with the client in both German and English

• A completed degree in economics, business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification, ideally with several years of experience as a Product Owner in software development
• Experience working with internationally distributed, cross-functional teams
• Independent, committed, and structured working style
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and a broad toolkit of methods
• Strong communication skills and negotiation abilities in German (C1) and English
• Strong conflict management skills
• Agile mindset and openness to change

Nice to have:

• Experience working on large-scale public sector projects with complex and regulated environments or experience working in
• Experience working in banking or payment sector
